Steps to Apply For DSSSB Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024
Step 1: Register on DSSSB’s portal at https://dsssbonline.nic.in. Follow the instructions provided on the Board’s website for registration. Note that registration is a one-time exercise, and the generated user ID and password will be used for all future logins and applications.
Step 2: Eligible candidates should apply online through the website https://dsssbonline.nic.in from 13/02/2024 to 13/03/2024 (till 11:59 PM). After this period, the application link will be disabled.
Step 3: Carefully read the INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING ONLINE before filling out the Online Application Form for the desired post.
Step 4: Submit your application through Online Mode only. Applications through any other mode (post, hand-delivery, email, etc.) will be rejected.
Step 5: It’s advised to submit the online application well before the closing date to avoid any technical issues or heavy website traffic close to the deadline. DSSSB will not be responsible for any submission failures due to reasons beyond their control.
Step 6: Double-check all details filled in the online application form before submission. Once submitted, no requests for changes or corrections will be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates will be responsible for any mistakes in the application data or fees paid.
DSSSB Nursing Officer Selection Process 2023
The selection process involves One-tier and Two-tier examination schemes. In case any questions in the exam are deemed invalid, they will not be evaluated, and the candidate’s marks will be prorated out of the maximum marks. Marks obtained in the Computer Test/Exam will be normalized if required, using a formula provided by DSSSB. Draft Answer Keys will be displayed on the DSSSB website post-examination, allowing candidates to submit objections online within the stipulated time frame. Minimum qualifying marks are set for different categories. Ex-servicemen receive a 5% relaxation in their respective categories. DSSSB reserves the right to prescribe minimum cut-off marks based on candidate availability. In the case of tied scores, preference is given based on subject-specific marks, age, and alphabetical order of names. This process ensures a fair and transparent selection based on merit and eligibility criteria.
