NAICL Assistant Recruitment Eligibility 2024
During the Regional Language Test, candidates must present original documents and self-attested photocopies to verify identity and eligibility. No changes to application data are permitted after registration completion. Applying, and being shortlisted in exams or tests does not guarantee employment. Requests to consider candidacy in different categories or regions won’t be entertained.
NATIONALITY :
A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either:-
a) a citizen of India, or
b) a subject of Nepal, or
c) a subject of Bhutan, or
d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to settle in India permanently, or
e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC / HSC / Intermediate / Graduation level. Candidate should possess a certificate as proof of passing the qualifying examination as of 01/01/2024.
Knowledge of Reading, Writing, and Speaking of the Regional Language of the State / UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential. To ascertain the candidate‘s familiarity with the Regional Language of the State / UT, a language test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not found to be proficient in the Regional Language Test would be disqualified.
How to Apply For NAICL Assistant Recruitment 2024
Step 1: Candidates have to go to the Company’s website http://www.newindia.co.in ‘Recruitment’ Section and click on the option ‘APPLY ONLINE’ which will open a new screen.
Step 2: To register the application, choose the tab ‘CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION’ and enter your Name, Contact details email ID, mobile no. etc. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
Step 3: In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he/she can save the data already entered by choosing the ‘SAVE AND NEXT’ tab. Before submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the ‘SAVE AND NEXT’ facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill out the application form carefully and verify/get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct, before final submission.
Step 4: Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application form themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ BUTTON.
Step 5: The Name of the candidate and his / her Father / Husband etc. should be spelled correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates / Mark sheets. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
Step 6: Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘VALIDATE YOUR DETAILS’ and ‘SAVE & NEXT’ buttons.
Step 7: Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Uploading of Photograph and Signature detailed under point “C” given below
Step 8: Candidates can proceed to fill in other details of the Application Form.
Step 9: Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before ‘FINAL SUBMIT’.
Step 10: Modify details, if required, and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ only after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded, and other details filled in by you are correct.
Step 11: Click on the ‘PAYMENT’ Tab and proceed with payment.
Step 12: Click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button.
NAICL Assistant Selection Process 2024
The selection process will include two online tests: the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. Candidates who qualify for the Main Examination will be shortlisted for the Regional Language Test before final selection.
Tier I: Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test ) :
The Preliminary Examination for 100 marks, will be of one-hour duration and will consist of 3 sections as follows:-
