Steps to Apply For PNB Specialist Officer Recruitment 2023
Step 1: Visit the Punjab National Bank website at www.pnbindia.in.
Step 2: Ensure you have a valid personal Email ID and Mobile Number. Keep them active throughout the recruitment process.
Step 3: Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register your application by providing basic information in the online form.
Step 4: After registration, a provisional registration number and password will be generated and displayed on the screen. Note them down.
Step 5: An Email & SMS with the Provisional Registration Number and Password will also be sent to you.
Step 6: Fill in the application form online. If unable to complete it at once, save the entered data for later modification. Use the provisional registration number and password to reopen the saved data.
Step 7: Carefully fill in the details as any changes post-submission won’t be entertained. Use the ‘SAVE AND NEXT’ facility to verify and modify the details before submission.
Step 8: Ensure the correct spelling of your name and your father/husband’s name as per certificates/mark sheets/photo identity proofs.
Step 9: Upon successful registration, you’ll receive an Email/SMS intimation with the Registration Number and Password. If not received, consider the application unsuccessful.
Step 10: Ensure the online application is complete with a proper passport-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, hand-written declaration, and successful fee payment.
Step 11: Remember, that the information provided in the application is binding, and any false details may lead to prosecution or civil consequences.
PNB Specialist Officer Selection Process 2023
Selection will be based on an Online Written Test followed by a Personal Interview or Personal Interview only, depending upon the number of applications received against each post, as per the discretion of the Bank. For each wrong answer given by the candidate, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score.
Candidates have to qualify for all the tests of Part I and Part II i.e. Professional Knowledge test will be evaluated only for those candidates who qualify in each paper in Part I. Minimum qualifying marks in each test will be decided by the Bank based on the collective response of the candidates.
