Qualifcation

• MBA/MMS with specialization in Finance / CA / CS / CFA / CWA / LLB / Post Graduation in Economics, Finance, or any other discipline considered useful by the Board from a recognized University / Institution.
•  Minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in dealing with problems related to the securities market or special knowledge/experience in Law, Investigation, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Administration, or any other discipline deemed useful to the Board.

Age limit (ON 30-07-2023)

• Minimum Age: 40 Years
• Maximum Age: 55 Years
• Age Relaxation Extra as per Rules

How to Fill the Form

• Submit the physical application, along with supporting documents, in the prescribed format.
• The cover should be superscribed ‘SEBI – Application for the post of Executive Director and sent to the following address: – The Chief General Manager (HRD), – Securities and Exchange Board of India, – Plot No.C4-A, “G” Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, – Bandra (East), Mumbai – 400051
•  Alternatively, applications along with supporting documents in the prescribed format can also be sent through email at [email protected].in.
•  Candidates should also fill out the online application form through the link provided on the SEBI website under the Careers Section.
• The applications, as specified above, should reach SEBI by August 18, 2023.
•  Applications not in the prescribed format and received after the due date are liable to be rejected.

Instructions

• Applications that are incomplete or received after the prescribed date will not be considered.
•  The mode of Selection will be an Interview, and the Board reserves the right to modify the selection procedure if deemed fit.
•  Outstation candidates called for the Interview will be reimbursed economy Class Airfare for the to and fro journey by the shortest route from the place of their residence to the place of the interview, subject to submission of necessary documentary evidence. 
• Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for, as the Board shall determine their eligibility only at the final stage while calling them for an interview.
•  The Board reserves the right to relax any of the eligibility criteria in deserving cases.
•  The Candidate appointed on deputation/contract will not be entitled to permanent employment with SEBI.
•  The Board reserves the right to raise the minimum standards in respect of qualification and experience to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the Interview. Fulfilling the eligibility conditions does not automatically entitle any candidate to be called for the Interview.
•  SEBI reserves the right not to fill up the post at all.
•  The Board reserves the right to cancel the advertisement fully or partly on any grounds.
•  Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate. 
• Candidates who are not eligible or have furnished incorrect or false particulars will have their candidature liable to be canceled at any stage of the selection process. If selected, and subsequently found ineligible, their appointment will be terminated without notice or compensation.
•  Applications received after the due date will not be entertained, and the Board takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt of the application or loss thereof in postal transit.
•  The decision of the Board in all matters would be final and binding, and no correspondence in this regard would be entertained.
