What is the CDS Exam?
The Union Public Service Commission conducts the CDS Examination. The CDS Exam means the Combined Defence Services Examination. This exam is conducted twice a year. The objective of the CDS exam is to select candidates where they are selected for various Branches of Armed forces.Â

Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India, subjects of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, to settle permanently in India.
