The Staff Selection Commission has published the notification SSC GD Constable 2024 for 26146 vacancies. The selection process is completed in four steps, such as Computer-based examination, PET, PST, and Medical Test.

Staff Selection Commission GD Constables Exam Pattern 2024

Computer-based Examinations consisting of Objective Tests for 160 marks will be conducted online. The test will have 4 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

The syllabus of Computer Based Examination:

A. General Intelligence and Reasoning

• The questions are from Analytical aptitude and Non-verbal Aptitude.
• Questions on analogies, similarities, and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding, decoding, etc. 

B. General Knowledge and General Awareness

• Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person.
• The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries, especially about sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian constitution, Scientific Research, etc. 

C. Elementary Mathematics:

• The questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and the relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

D. English/ Hindi

• Ability to understand basic English/ Hindi and his basic comprehension.

SSC GD Constable PET Test 2024 

Candidates have to clear the race within the following time limits:

5 Km in 24 minutes.	1.6 km in 8 ½ minutes	For candidates other than those belonging to Ladakh Region.
1.6 km in 7 minutes	800 metres in 5 minutes	For candidates of Ladakh Region.

SSC GD Constable Medical Examination 2024

SSC GD Medical Examination is the last step of the selection process for the post of GD Constable. The candidates are eligible for Medical examination for those who qualify for the PST and PET Tests. Candidates need to submit the required documents at the time of medical examination. Here is the list of documents is mentioned below:
