Introduction: 

West Bengal Government has launched the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship 2023 for the Backward class students studying in higher studies: Undergraduate, Graduate, and Post Graduate. 

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Notification:

West Bengal Government recently launched the notification of the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for the academic year 2023-2024.

An eligible higher-study student can register for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship through the online application. The registration of the online application has started.

How to apply the online From

Students should follow the following steps to complete the registration for the Scholarship – 

• Step 1: Visit the official website of Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship. Applicants need to fill up and submit the Application form. After successful registration, generate a User ID. 
• Step 2: After successful registration, applicants need to log in and complete the rest of the application form. 
• Step 3: After submitting the application form, you need to upload the all necessary scanned documents: image, signature, and income certificate from the Competent Authority (BDO/SDO/Jt. BDO / BLRO (Panchayat Area), Executive Officer / Finance Officer / Education Officer in case of municipality, Commissioner / Dy. Com / Municipal secretary in case of Corporation Area, G.R-A Gazetted Officer)
• Step 4:  After successful upload, view the application click the apply, and complete the application process. 

Note: If you need to change your application details, you contact your HOI and request him to unlock the application. After successfully unlocking the application, you can able to change the application details. 

Documents requirement for New Applicant

Candidate must collect these documents for the application of Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2023. These documents are :

• Marksheet of Madhyamic Examination or its equivalent 
• Admission receipt
• Income certificate
• Domicile certificate / residential certificate
• Bank Passbook (1st page)
•  Declaration of Year gap from the Head of the Institution
